Delete Your Account

KaaMate | Effective date: 1 August 2026

You can delete your KaaMate account at any time, directly in the app. You do not need to contact us first.

1. Delete from the app (fastest)

Open KaaMate and sign in.
Go to the Profile tab.
Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
Confirm. Your account is removed immediately and you are signed out.

2. Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email info.kaamate@gmail.com from any address, including your registered mobile number. We verify ownership of the number before deleting, and complete verified requests within 30 days.

3. What is deleted

Your profile — name, city, address, mobile number and profile photo.
Your uploaded identity document, if you registered as a worker.
Your saved notification token, so you stop receiving notifications.

4. What is kept, and why

Records of completed bookings, ratings and cancellations are retained. These are also the other party's record of a transaction they took part in, and we need them for fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal or tax obligations. They are retained without your contact details attached.

Chat messages remain visible to the other participant in that conversation, for the same reason.
