KaaMate is an app for finding trusted local workers near you: electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, cleaners, mechanics, AC technicians, tutors, photographers and more. Every worker is reviewed by our team before their profile appears in search.
Open KaaMate, allow location access, and either search for what you need or tap a category. You will see workers who actually serve your area, sorted by distance, with their ratings, years of experience and the services they offer. If typing is awkward, you can search by speaking instead.

Yes — every profile has a chat button and a call button. We recommend chatting first to agree the work, the timing and the price before anyone travels, so there are no surprises on either side.
Tap Book on the worker's card and choose now or a later time. The worker accepts or declines, and you can follow the job as it moves from assigned to arrived, working and done. When the worker reaches you, you share a one-time arrival code with them in person — so a visit can never be marked as started without you.
No. Searching, chatting, calling and booking are free, and KaaMate takes no commission. You pay the worker directly, at the price you agreed with them.
KaaMate works wherever registered workers are nearby, and the network is strongest in Surat, Gujarat, where it started. Search uses your live location rather than a fixed list of cities, so if approved workers serve your area you will see them. If you see nobody yet, it means no verified worker covers your location so far.
Use Get Help in the app to raise an issue with our team, and the SOS button if you need urgent help during a job. You can also report or block a user from their profile or from the chat. By email: info.kaamate@gmail.com.
Any independent skilled worker or service provider in a supported area. You need a working mobile number, a clear photo of yourself and a government ID for verification.
Whatever you genuinely do — you select your services during registration and can change them later. Please list only the work you actually provide: customers rate the job they received, and a mismatched list costs you ratings.
Once your profile is approved you appear in search for customers within the service radius you set, for the services you chose. Staying online, keeping a clear photo and collecting genuine ratings all help customers pick you.
Registration is free at the moment, with no end date announced, and KaaMate takes no commission on your jobs — you keep what you earn. If a registration fee is introduced later, the amount will be shown in the app before you pay anything.
Our team reviews every profile before it goes live: the photo, the ID document, the services listed and the area served. If something is unclear, you will get a message explaining exactly what to correct. Once approved, your profile appears in search and you can go online.
Open Profile in the app. Some details — your name, photo, city, services, experience and ID — are checked by our team before the change goes live, because customers rely on them when deciding who to let into their home. Everything else updates immediately.
Booking requests arrive as a notification and appear on your dashboard. Accept or decline promptly: a request left waiting is the most common reason a customer books somebody else. When you reach the customer, ask for their arrival code to start the job.
Once a booking exists you can chat or call the customer from the job. Please agree the price clearly before you begin the work.
KaaMate is built for India and is strongest in Surat, Gujarat. Because search is based on your live location and the radius each worker sets, coverage grows city by city as workers join, rather than being switched on for a fixed list of places.
English, Hindi, Gujarati and Marathi. You can change the language whenever you like and your choice is remembered. Voice search works in all four.
You can delete your account from Profile in the app, or request it at kaamate.in/delete-account. An active booking has to be finished or cancelled first, so nobody is left waiting on a job.
